Cinco de Mayo arrives this Sunday, May 5, in celebration of the Mexican army defeat of France in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862 and in addition to family and friend celebrations, there are numerous special restaurant deals available as well. EatThis,NotThat! has come up with 13 of the best deals available below.
- Taco Bell – Taco Bell Rewards members can get five crunchy or soft tacos for $5 on May 5 when ordered online or through the mobile app. It’s a single-day special limited to one per customer
- Chipotle – customers can enjoy a $0 delivery fee now through May 5 using the code CINCO24 when ordering on the Chipotle mobile app or website
- El Pollo Loco – On May 3, members of Loco Rewards get a free Carnitas Stuffed Quesadilla with the purchase of another. On May 4, members can buy a 2 Carnitas Taco Combo and get a second order for free. On Cinco de Mayo, May 5, members who place a $10 or more order on the app will get two free Shredded Chicken Crunchy Tacos for free along with free delivery. Finally, members get $20 off a catering order of $100 or more this week and customers who pay a $50 gift card get a $10 bonus through May 5
- On The Border – from now through May 5, customers can get a $5 Cinco Rita, $5 Mexican draft beer or On The Border’s signature queso for $5. There will also be daily premium drink specials starting at $9.99 through May 5. Featured drinks include the Pineapple Rita, The Perfect Patron, 1800 Meltdowns, Spicy Ghost Rita and two new drinks – Blue Duck Oasis Rita and Duck Island Breeze Rita
- Taco John’s – get a free beef Taco Bravo with any $5 or more purchase on May 5. This is a one-day deal
- Chuy’s – food and drink specials for dine-in customers on May 5 include a Regular House ‘Rita for $6 or a Grande House ‘Rita for $10 with a giveaway cup. Chips ‘N’ Dips including Queso, Queso Compuesto, Lil’ Chuy Gooey, or Boom-Boom Pow dips will be available for $5 all day
- Tijuana Flats – from May 3 through May 5 get a discounted price of $5 on several menu items on their “Fiesta de Mayo.” They are also offering their Fiesta Bundle Meal Kits for $46.99
- Hooter’s – a report from WFLA notes that Hooter’s will offer a combo deal with two Legendary “83” Margaritas and a plate of Tex-Mex Nachos for $20. This deal is good at all South Florida Hooter’s locations, but check with your local Hooter’s to see if the deal is good there
- Moe’s Southwest Grill – Moe’s Rewards members can purchase a Build-You-Own Burrito or Bowl for $5.55. The deal is only good at participating locations on any order that contains a burrito or bowl
- Dave and Buster’s – the chain has a drink special on May 5 with the $5 Tres Tequila Rita
- El Torito – this Southern California chain offers all-day Happy Hours deals on May 3 and May 4 with $4, $6, $8, and $10 specials. On May 5 there’s an All-You-Can-Eat Brunch in the morning and margarita, beer, and shot specials and $4 tacos all afternoon and evening
- Del Taco - Fast Food Club reports Del Taco deals from May 3 through May 5 include a free burrito for Del Yeah! Rewards members when spending $10 or more. Members can also get $0 delivery fees on orders of $15 or more from May 3 through May 5
- Torchy’s Tacos – check on Torchy’s Tacos Instagram page for current special offers. There have already been several customer giveaways which included a custom-designed Yeti-brand cooler and a custom decanter with two Torchy’s-branded glasses
