Omar Bin Omran vanished in 1998 while he was headed to vocational school in Algeria. Sunday, authorities finally found him alive…in the cellar below his 61-year-old neighbor’s sheep pen. He’s been taken to a hospital for a physical and mental evaluation after 26 years in the hole, and reportedly told family members that he would sometimes see them walking by through a window in the home but couldn’t call out to them, feeling like he was under a spell. His mother’s last wish before she died in 2013 was “Please, do not stop searching for Omar. I am sure he is still alive.” No word on why the man kidnapped and held Omar prisoner for almost 30 years.
