AI Hospital Being Built In China

Researchers at China's Tsinghua University are developing the world's first entirely AI "Agent Hospital,” a virtual medical metropolis where large language models power every doctor and patient interaction. This would not only allows AI docs to autonomously treat a staggering 10-thousand virtual patients in just days (a feat that would take humans two years). It also boasts an impressive 93% accuracy rate on complex medical questions.

Beyond treatment capabilities, team leader Liu Yang thinks the AI hospital could serve as a training ground for medical students to hone their skills before operating on real patients. This isn’t happening in the distant future either…the hospital is projected to launch this year.
