AT&T Outage Blocking Competing Carriers Leads To FCC Investigation

AT&T customers are no longer facing nationwide issues that impact their ability to call non-AT&T users. The problems happened yesterday afternoon, with the FCC saying it will investigate. Verizon also said some of its customers experienced issues in the Midwest and Northeast when calling or texting "customers served by another carrier," in other words…AT&T. It marked the second time in three months AT&T has faced an outage, with the last one lasting 12 hours.
