It’s probably not a good idea to have a Monster Truck show near power lines. Several people were injured Saturday when utility poles snapped and a transformer tumbled to the ground at the Topsham Fairgrounds during a Monster Trucks show. The lobster shaped truck Crushstation had jumped dirt ramps a few times with no issue, but then on one more pass, the top of the truck snagged power lines. That sent the live wires to the ground. The driver was trapped, two people were injured, and some folks were trapped in port-a-potties because of wires draped over them. Luckily, everyone is recovering.
