Dunkin’ Announces Return Of Iced Coffee Day On June 20

The first day of summer is Thursday, June 20 and it coincides with Dunkin’s annual Iced Coffee Day. Every iced coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ locations that day will result in a $1 donation to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The foundation is also hosting a series of events in partnership with hospitals around the US called “Painting with Joy” where kids of all ages get to paint their favorite Dunkin’ Donuts or show off their creativity on a paint-by-number canvas.

Victor Carvalho, Dunkin’ Franchisee and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation said “Dunkin’s franchisees are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve and we want our guests to know that every iced coffee order on June 20 will go a long way in bringing smiles and comfort to kids and families who need it most.” Dunkin’ has raised over $3.5 million over the past two years with the program has awarded almost 200 grants to local children’s hospitals nationwide and has surpassed $50 million in distributed grants since the program’s inception in 2006.

There’s also a limited-edition iced coffee-inspired iPhone case designed to mimic the drink with floating “iced cubes” starting at 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 20. Customers can visit ShopDunkin.com to get a case for $15 and all proceeds will be donated to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
