Affordable supersonic air travel could be available to Americans in the near future. Boom Supersonic CEO Blake Scholl opened a new jet production facility in Greensboro, North Carolina yesterday. Scholl says he dreams of making it able to "fly anywhere in the world in four hours for 100 dollars." He didn't give an exact timeline on when the Overture planes might be ready to go, but is eying 2029. The price to fly in the beginning should sit at around five-thousand bucks.
