What goes best with tires and automotive repair? At Scaife Affordable Tire and Auto Repair, in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, it’s apparently moonshine. Cops have charged Steven Scaife II with allegedly selling hooch out of his father’s store, and even sold it directly to Pennsylvania State Police “multiple times last year.” According to an arrest affidavit, Scaife said he could move “1.5 gallons of illegal moonshine at a time and has produced 50 gallons since October of 2022.”
