TS Debby Pushes Packed Cocaine Onto Florida Beach

You never know what a hurricane will wash up on a beach. U.S. Border Patrol is launching an investigation after now Tropical Storm Debby made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane and washed 70 pounds of cocaine onto a South Florida beach. A good Samaritan made the discovery yesterday morning in the Florida Keys. There were 25 packages of cocaine, and they have an estimated street value of over one-million dollars. Thanks to South Florida being near a drug smuggling route, drugs washing up on beaches isn’t a new thing.
