A British man went fishing and reeled in a rare shark. It was a tiny Lego shark made in the 90’s and worth a few hundred bucks! The Lego piece had gone missing from a Tokio Express cargo ship in 1997 along with 62 other shipping containers worth of product during a storm. About 52-thousand Lego sharks were lost at sea and it’s the stuff of Lego legend. Author Tracey Williams wrote about the incident and runs the “Lego Lost at Sea” project where people can report their finds. The fisherman reported it and is now selling the shark in Lego marketplaces.
