A federal appeals court is set to hear arguments on challenges to a law that would ban TikTok in the U.S. if the popular video sharing app doesn't divest from its Chinese owner. A group of TikTok platform creators filed the lawsuit to block the law from taking effect. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia will hold oral arguments today. TikTok a subsidiary of ByteDance claims the law signed by President Biden in April is unconstitutional. Both former president Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are active on TikTok seeking to court younger voters. Both sides have asked for a ruling by December 6 so the Supreme Court can take up the case.
