Budget-Minded shoppers know that Prime Day is Amazon’s biggest sale of the year and they’ve just announced the dates for their fall version: Prime Big Deal Days. The retail giant is bringing back the popular sale and it starts on Tuesday, October 8th at 3:01 a.m. ET and runs for two days.
The 48-hour event offers Prime members deals on everything from electronics to toys to home essentials. It’s the third year Amazon has held a second Prime Day in October and it’s like a kickoff to the holiday shopping season. During Prime Big Deal Days, “new deals will drop as often as every five minutes during select periods,” according to the retailer.
To make the most of the savings, Amazon recommends:
- Signing up for Prime - The sale is only for Prime members, but those who aren’t can join or start a free trial to get access to the event. Members get free delivery on millions of items, discounts at Whole Foods, free Kindle downloads, as well as access to movies and shows on Prime Video.
- Set personal deal reminders on Alexa - The virtual assistant can be set up for deal notifications through the Amazon shopping app for items on your Wish List, in your cart or marked “Save for Later.”
- Some early deals are already available - Prime members can start shopping for deals that are available now, including on Amazon devices. Early Deals include:
- Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) - $190 (originally $249)
