The World’s Most Relaxing Beaches

There’s no wrong way to spend a day at the beach, whether you’re into surfing, swimming, collecting shells or just soaking up the sun with a good book in hand. While some folks are all about adventure and water sports, others prefer a low-key day at the coast doing nothing but unwinding and a new study reveals the best stretches of sand for that.

  • SpaSeekers.com has come out with their list of the World’s Most Relaxing Beaches.
  • Their researchers analyzed online travel reviews of beaches worldwide to count the number of times the words “relaxing” and “relax” were used.
  • According to their study, Little French Key, which is on a private island in Honduras, is the most relaxing beach in the world.
  • Nearly 17% of the 4,250 reviews of this beach mention that key word “relaxing.”
  • Little French Key is famous for its classic white sand, perfectly clear water and “off-the-grid vibe,” so it makes sense that it’s number one.
  • The U.S. is home to six of the top 25 most relaxing beaches on the planet.
