Man Accused Of Stealing Ambulance To Drive To Stolen-Car Court Hearing

An Oklahoma man named Kody Adams was unable to find a ride to his court hearing for charges related to possessing a stolen vehicle, allegedly stole an ambulance to get there. Adams was at a gas station in Stillwater asking for a lift to Pawnee when he found the unattended truck left running. He hopped in and drove himself to the courthouse, where Trooper Ryan Long arrested him as he walked in for his hearing. When questioned, Adams reportedly told the trooper he was just “borrowing” the vehicle. After attending his court date, he was booked into jail on new charges.
