The producers of "Survivor" have something special in mind for fans of the reality competition series. For the upcoming 50th season of the show, they're letting the viewers in on the fun. Jeff Probst, host and executive producer of the long running show, announced Saturday that the CBS competition’s 50th season, which will air next February, will be guided in part by votes from viewers. The show is calling it "In the Hands of the Fans." "For the first time ever, our loyal fans will take control; deciding key elements of the game, from twists to idols to advantages. I can’t wait to see what the fans choose for our returning players." In addition to fan voting, CBS and Fiji Airways are sponsoring a contest in which five groups of fans will be flown to Fiji during filming of the 50th season.
