Weddings often come with unplanned drama, whether it’s from an overserved groomsman or someone who didn’t follow the dress code guidelines. TikToker Maddie Richter asked her followers to spill the worst things they’ve seen go down at weddings and they didn’t hold back.
“Tell me about your worst experience as a wedding guest and what made it a bad wedding,” she says in a video. “I’m not talking ‘the steak was cold,’ I’m talking UNHINGED.” The clip has racked up more than a million views and the comments section is filled with thousands of shocking stories including:⠀
- “The bride MADE UP the groom!! There was no man and she had this made up life for years. She never walked down the aisle. Her dad had to break the news that there was no groom.”
- “About half way into the reception the DJ stepped outside to have a cigarette and had a heart attack and died in front of all the groomsmen. The rest of the night was dedicated to making sure the couple didn't find out.”
