Last week, an Instacart driver entered a Milwaukee Pick ‘N Save to quickly pick up an order. During the brief time she was in the store, she left her car running in the parking lot and someone stole it. Fortunately, the woman and her boyfriend were able to track the vehicle by an Apple AirTag attached to her keys. They caught up with the car at a nearby intersection where they confronted the thief. While attempting to recover the vehicle, there was a struggle and the suspect hit the gas, spinning the car in circles several times before the woman’s boyfriend was able to bring the vehicle to a stop. The suspect fled the scene, but had left his ID behind and was apprehended the following day when he went to a local hospital for treatment.
