etired firefighter and owner of a Texas construction company, Steve Oram, was out for a day of fishing, when he made a discovery that no American wants to make.
He saw some splashing in the water and figured it was just a bird native to the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. Then, as his eyes focused on the water, he saw that a different kind of bird was in trouble.
In the video below, posted on February 16, 2017, Steve explains, “Once I got up on it, I realized it was not a pelican. it was an American bald eagle. Then, I saw the trotline that was tied to a tree limb, and he was entangled in it.”
