For many military families, having a loved one away for months at a time is just a way of life. It’s a difficult thing to let go after a soldier comes home and to say goodbye, but it makes their return even sweeter.
But as mom Mandy Ensman’s video shows, the love between a father and a daughter is still just as strong even after months of absence.
In March, the mother filmed her toddler daughter seeing her soldier dad for the first time since Christmas. Two months may seem short, but can be an eternity while waiting for a loved one to come home.
