Freezing hair in COLD temperatures is the way they roll in the Yukon where it rarely gets above 25 degrees. The operators of the Takhini Hot Pools invite visitors every February to a very cool contest where they're asked to submit their best frozen hair photos.
The International Hair Freezing Contest has been popular since 2011 and this year is no different.
The winner gets a prize of $750 and a 30 soak membership. The company says the key to a great frozen hairstyle is . . . waiting. And lots of it.
