These Pics from Hair Freezing Contest in Canada is Everything

What some folks will do for cold, hard cash.

Freezing hair in chilly temps is the way they roll in the Yukon where  the temperature rarely rises above 25 degrees. The operators of the Takhini Hot Pools  invite visitors every February to a very cool contest where hot spring  visitors are asked to submit their best frozen hair photos.

The International Hair Freezing Contest has been popular since 2011 and this year is no different.

The winner gets a prize of 750-dollars and a 30 soak membership. The company says the key to a great frozen hairstyle is…waiting. And lots of  it.
