The Philadelphia auto shop has an all-female staff and they want to help women learn about their cars and provide a safe place to do it. They’ve been open since 2013, but now they’ve made their shop even better for women by adding the Clutch Beauty Bar, so you can get your nails and hair done while you’re having your car repaired!
Then you’re relaxed and pampered by the time your car is finished being worked on by one of the Girls Auto Clinic’s “shecanics”. It sure beats sitting in the waiting room and reading a magazine, don’t you think?
So far, Philly is their only location, but fingers crossed they’ll franchise this brilliant idea so women everywhere have this option. It wouldn’t be so bad getting the car fixed if you got your hair and nails fixed while you wait. Right?
