Children are much more observant than we give them credit for. While we often assume that they walk around in a haze, thinking of only innocent things, their neurons are firing and they are connecting the dots much faster than adults do. Maybe it’s because they are seeing the world through judgment-free eyes for the first time. They often catch us off guard when they bring something up that happened days ago, sharing just how intuitive they are with others feelings and emotions. They notice when others are sad or happy and they pick up on little details that adults don’t.
