New 8K Footage Shows Titanic Is Deteriorating

(Undated) -- The first ever Eight-K footage of the Titanic shipwreck shows the ship is deteriorating. OceanGate Expeditions released the new video Tuesday that showed details of the shipwreck never seen before. The group said the deterioration of the Titanic is "continuing apace." It added that it would have more data on the collapsing shipwreck next year. The wreckage of the Titanic was discovered in 1985 after it sank in 1912 when it hit an iceberg.
