Nicole Jones, a single mother of two, could no longer afford to live in the area she called home. Now, she must live in a tiny garage with her two children for $1,000 a month. The garage is surprisingly accommodating, complete with kitchen and bathroom.
She spent about $750 on housing application fees, but no one would take her. She doesn’t want sympathy. The mother is proud to be able to provide for her family and put a roof over their head.
