The reporter claimed they wanted to write a story on her as an alumni and where she is now. However the reporter started asking Amy to share specific details about her personal life, including marital status.
Amy thought that was bizarre to include for a news article, so she raised a red flag. When she looked into things deeper, she realized the person wasn't a reporter for the news outlet they were claiming to be writing for. The situation made Amy really uncomfortable, especially because she wasn't ready to share the news about her divorce publicly and this was clearly someone trying to gain personal information to share.
