Virginia State Police are searching for 12-year-old Angie Carolina Rodriguez Rubio and her grandmother, 48-year-old Elizabeth Rodriguez Rubio.  Authorities say they are believed to have been abducted by Hareton Jaime Rodriguez-Sariol.

On Tuesday night, Virginia State Police said Rodriguez-Sariol was apprehended, but both the 12-year-old and her grandmother remain missing.

According to the Amber Alert, the missing child and grandmother were last seen with Rodriguez-Sariol near the 2800 block of South Main Street at around 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Harrisonburg.

The girl’s grandmother is described as a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes.  She is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a black skirt and burgundy blouse.

According to the Amber Alert, Rodriguez-Sariol has a history of infatuation with the grandmother.
