A German teenager faces trespassing charges for trying to break into a jail to reach his ex.
The unidentified, apparently lovesick, 18-year-old scaled a 13-foot prison wall at a northern prison to reach the barred-window of his ex's cell.
The teen refused to come down, then shed his clothes to not get caught in the barbed wire. Fire officials had to use a ladder to capture him. It is said the imprisoned girl broke up with him just before her sentencing.
The street lamp used by the teen to climb the wall is now covered in barbed wire. Prison officials say they don't understand why he didn't just book a prison visit.
