Police in Kansas City, Kansas, are singing the praises of a pet who saved his owner after a scary incident. They report that a man was out walking his dog on a recent evening when he started experiencing a medical emergency, but the dog knew just what to do.
The very good boy ran to a nearby neighbor and barked to alert them that his owner was in trouble. The quick-thinking neighbor realized what was going on and called 911.
"Thanks to this smart and loyal canine, and neighbors who paid attention to his plea for help, the man received prompt medical attention and is doing well," police share in a Facebook post. As for the pup, they say he was rewarded with “lots of pats, praise and some yummy dog treats!”
