We told you about this one yesterday, but there’s been a new development in the trial of Nancy Crampton Brophy, a 71-year-old romance novelist for the murder of her 63-year-old husband in 2018. Judge Christopher Ramras has ruled that a blog post she wrote titled “How To Murder Your Husband” she wrote in 2011 has been excluded from the trial, with Judge Ramras saying it was written years ago and is “substantially outweighed by the danger of unfair prejudice and confusion of the issues.” Prosecutors are trying to paint the picture of a broke couple with a big life insurance policy as the motive.
