The Super Bowl is this weekend, and while a lot of folks are mostly interested in the game, there are plenty of people who tune in for the commercials, and this year Dolly Parton is responsible for one of them.
The singer has reworked her classic movie theme “9 to 5,” changing it to “5 to 9” for a commercial for Squarespace that celebrates those who have side hustles. While Dolly herself isn’t really in the ad, directed by “La La Land’s” Damien Chazelle, her image does appear on a magazine, and gives a wink to the camera.
“This was a wonderful way to kinda bring back that song and add new words and talk about new people are doing,” Dolly shares on "Today." “I’m excited about it.”
