Wingsuit pilot Sebastian Alvarez has now done something no one’s ever done before after skydiving into and then back out of an active volcano. The first three tries didn’t work due to smoke from the volcano and high winds, but the fourth attempt was a success.
Video shows Alvarez after jumping out of a helicopter 11,000 feet in the air flying toward the top of the 656-foot-wide crater at the top of Villarrica, also known as ‘the devil’s house,’ then dipping down into the smoking crater before pulling up and back out.
