Scientists have discovered a phenomenon in our galactic backyard.
They’ve found a spinning mass that releases enormous bursts of energy every 20 minutes. Australia-based International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research were mapping radio waves for the universe when they tripped over the brightest radio sources in the sky coming from the mass.
The researchers are continuing to monitor the mass to get a better idea of what it is.
