Twitter has suspended a spoiler bot that's been giving away the solution to the next day's Wordle puzzle.
Wordle is an online word game with millions of players, and offers only one puzzle a day. It also allows users to share their scores on social media.
Lately, players have been harassed by a Twitter bot that's been giving away the answer to the next day's puzzle whenever a player tweets their score. Yesterday, Twitter said the spoiler bot has been suspended for violating the platform's rules having to do with "sending bulk, aggressive, high-volume unsolicited replies."
It's likely the person behind the spoiler bot probably found the next day's puzzle by hacking Wordle's webpage.
