The 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards go down tonight and it’s guaranteed to be another great night of music.
Performers confirmed for this year’s telecast include: show host, LL Cool J, along with Jason Aldean, Megan Thee Stallion,John Legend, Charlie Puth, and Måneskin.
In addition, Jennifer Lopez is set to receive this year’s Icon Award, “honoring her impact on pop culture, longevity and continued relevance as a touring and radio force with a loyal fan base worldwide.” She will also perform.
The show will also feature special appearances by Olivia Rodrigo, Silk Sonic, Lil Nas X, Billy Porter, The Kid LAROI, David Guetta, Avril Lavigne, Shaun White, All Time Low, Willow Smith, Robin Thicke, Lainey Wilson, Dove Cameron, and more.
- Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, and Jason are all up for Country Artist of the Year, along with Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett, while song of the year nods go to Chris Young and Kane Brown’s “Famous Friends,” Luke Combs’ “Forever After All,” Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s “If I Didn’t Love You,” Parmalee and Blanco Brown’s “Just The Way” and Gabby Barrett’s “The Good Ones.”
- A few country artists were also recognized in some all-genre categories, including Dan + Shay, who earned a nod for Best Duo/Group of the Year, and Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood’s “If I Didn’t Love You,” which is nominated for Best Collaboration.
