France has introduced a new scratch-and-sniff postage stamp that smells like baguettes, ahead of the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris. The stamp, created by La Poste, features a drawing of a baguette wrapped in a French tricolor ribbon. Limited to an initial run of 594-thousand stamps, they celebrate the bread as an iconic symbol of French gastronomy and cultural heritage. The new stamps are available for purchase across France right now for 1.96 Euros, with one stamp good for sending a letter weighing up to 20 grams and two stamps good for a letter up to 100 grams. The stamps can also be used for international shipments.
