Being In Nature Is Again Shown To Be A Great Stress Reliever

Once again, new studies strongly suggest getting back to nature is a great stress reducer. Researchers at McGill University and a university in Chile worked together to see how the brain responds to nature in over 100 different brain-related studies. The conclusion: nature seems to offer a kind of "mental reset." The lower stress of nature (simple patterns, less for the brain to have to work through than in an urban or suburban environment) requires less mental effort from us, thus, less stress. The study suggests doctors could actually start recommending some "back to nature" time as an antidote to our every day screen obsessed, clock obsessed world.
