Max To Start “Soft Messaging” Their Password Sharing Crackdown

Streaming service Max will start to crack down on password sharing in the coming months. The CFO of Warner Brothers Discovery said in an earnings call yesterday that the plan will ramp up into 2025 and 2026. The initial rollout will start with what the company calls "very soft messaging,” reminding subscribers to pay extra for users outside the home. Then they will crack down.
